LEAP Exhibition
About:
These are the display boards I made for the Learning Elders Leap Program final exhibition.
I designed, implemented and taught this class. Students were introduced to and given handouts on the elements/principles of design, colour theory/symbology/psychology, the emotion of line and positive/negative space.
The project was to create colouring pages inspired through personal photographs using blended pencil crayon techniques. The students generously offered to have their black and white original page made into free colouring page handouts at the show.
They also had to colour one other separate piece - each had a 'puzzle part' of a separate image which was put together in the final class. That final piece was a collage of everyone's talent.
(You can find more information regarding this class in my blog: 'Open House for Whimsical Transformations'.)
